The Adekunle Gold Foundation has hosted its quarterly sickle cell medical outreach, providing essential healthcare services to more than 400 individuals living with Sickle Cell Disease in Lagos.
The outreach, which held recently, was organised in partnership with the Sickle Cell Advocacy and Management Initiative.
The programme delivered a range of critical medical interventions, including specialist consultations, diagnostic laboratory tests, blood transfusions for patients with severe anaemia, pain management and crisis care, physiotherapy support, and the distribution of essential medications.
