I’ve never been so heartbroken.
My brother Brandon passed away on May 23 due to complications from his Sickle Cell Anemia.
Many of you loved him deeply and still ask about him often, so I felt it was important to share this. Over the past several years, he slowly began retreating from the world. A lot of people may not have understood why. But living with sickle cell disease is more than painful episodes — it can be physically exhausting, emotionally isolating, and mentally draining in ways that are hard to explain unless you’ve witnessed it firsthand.
