SAN ANTONIO - The official cause of death for a Bexar County Jail inmate who died in May has finally been released.
According to the Bexar County Medical Examiner's Office, the cause of death for 29-year-old Casandra Monette Pearson has been revealed as Sickle Cell Disease, with Profound Anemia and Hemodynamic Shock.
Her manner of death has been ruled natural causes.
