A Scientific Symposium on the theme "Sickle Cell and Pregnancy" has taken place at the Yaoundé Central Hospital, in prelude to the 2026 World Sickle Cell Day Awareness Day, to hold on June 19. Health professionals including gynecologists, anesthetists, hematologists, psychologists and other experts discussed the importance of a multidisciplinary approach to managing pregnancy in women with Sickle Cell.
